Introduction
An AMC was scaling its business by building a new brand identity, onboarding distributors, and launching new funds. This demanded a complete revamp of the existing brand presence and ensure a seamless transition to the new identity. Website plays a crucial part in this transition as it becomes the primary face of a company in the online space. With new distributors onboarded and new funds to be launched a completely new corporate website with the new identity was the way forward.
Business Challenge
Development of the corporate website, being an extensive process, was executed phase wise. The first and foremost task was to navigate the stringent regulatory landscape governed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) guidelines. Adherence to these guidelines was non-negotiable, requiring meticulous attention to detail and ensuring that every aspect of the website's design and functionality complied with regulatory standards. Additionally, there was a need for a pre-launch presence to engage with distributors and prospective customers. This necessitated effective communication strategies to build anticipation and generate interest in the AMC's offerings while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
It was important to have New Fund Offers (NFOs) with zero downtime for an uninterrupted user experience. A comprehensive approach to safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards was critical for the platform.
Solution
Leveraging the open-source CMS Drupal, a cost-efficient platform was developed. A proactive approach of implementing changes pre-emptively and addressing any potential compliance issues before they were raised by auditors was adopted to comply with SEBI guidelines. Along with this, regular monitoring and updates were done to ensure complete adherence to regulatory standards. A static website was strategically launched in order to establish the company’s presence well in advance of fund launches. An interim home page was also introduced prior to the static website in order to bolster the branding efforts, engage with stakeholders and build anticipation of fund launches. During critical periods such as New Fund Offers (NFOs), the team ensured round-the-clock availability, with the members ready to address any issues promptly and robust security measures and protocols were implemented to meet ad hoc information security requirements.

Every concern was addressed with meticulous strategies and solutions. The corporate website for the AMC had the flexibility and scalability required to meet the AMC's needs. The platform was equipped to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate the risk of data breaches or cyber threats. The NFO launches were seamless with zero downtime and enhanced investor confidence while maintaining uninterrupted access to the platform during critical periods. Rigorous adherence to SEBI guidelines throughout the project lifecycle ensured regulatory compliance at all levels, instilling trust and confidence among stakeholders and regulatory authorities. With a proactive approach to pre-launch engagement and comprehensive project management, there were no delays in any fund launches or closure of regulatory requirements, and the corporate website not only met but exceeded industry standards, showcasing innovation, efficiency, and strategic thinking.
